These Terms of Service ("Terms") govern your access to and use of Voxen — the platform available at voxen.it that generates Minecraft server plugins from natural-language descriptions, compiles them, and lets you download the resulting .jar files (the "Service"). By creating an account or using the Service you agree to these Terms. If you do not agree, do not use the Service.
Voxen is operated by Matteo Orazietti, Località Fenile 2/B, 61032 Fano (PU), Italy. You can reach the team at any time at team@voxen.it.
1. The Service
Voxen provides an AI-assisted development environment for Minecraft server plugins (Spigot, Paper, Purpur). You describe what you want in natural language; the Service generates Java source code, lets you edit it in a browser-based editor, compiles it on our build infrastructure, and returns a downloadable plugin.
- The Service is provided over the internet, on a free plan with limited usage and on paid subscription plans with larger allowances.
- AI output is generated by third-party language models selected and routed by Voxen; the specific models and providers may change at any time without notice.
- The Service is under active development ("beta"): features, limits, models, and interfaces evolve continuously.
2. Eligibility and accounts
You must be at least 14 years old to create an account. If you are under 18, any purchase on the Service requires the consent of a parent or legal guardian, which is collected at checkout and must be truthful.
- You must provide accurate, complete, and current information when registering and keep it up to date.
- You are responsible for safeguarding your credentials and for all activity under your account. Accounts are personal and may not be shared or sold.
- We may refuse registration, or suspend or terminate accounts, in the cases described in Section 8.
3. Plans, credits and billing
Paid plans are monthly subscriptions processed by Stripe, our payment provider. We never see or store your full card details.
- Generation allowances ("credits") renew at the start of each billing cycle and do not roll over. Only completed full generations consume credits; the free plan also limits the number of projects.
- Subscriptions renew automatically each month until cancelled. You can cancel at any time from "Manage subscription"; access continues until the end of the paid period.
- Switching plans takes effect according to the flow shown at checkout. Downgrading or cancelling reverts you to the free plan limits at the end of the cycle.
- We may change prices or what each plan includes. Price changes for existing subscribers take effect from the next billing cycle at the earliest and are communicated in advance by email or in the app.
- Refunds are governed by the Refund Policy, which is part of these Terms.
4. BYOK (Bring Your Own Key)
The BYOK plan lets you run generations on your own API key from a supported AI provider (for example OpenRouter, NVIDIA, or Google).
- Your key is validated against the provider, stored encrypted in a dedicated vault, and used exclusively server-side to run your own generations. It is never displayed back, never exposed to other users, and you can delete it at any time.
- You are responsible for the provider account the key belongs to: its terms of service, its usage limits, and any costs the provider bills you for usage generated through Voxen.
- The BYOK subscription fee pays for the Voxen platform (editor, compilation, storage, orchestration), not for the AI usage, which is billed by your provider.
- If your key stops working (revoked, out of quota, provider outage), generations will fail until you fix or replace it; this is not a malfunction of the Service.
5. Your content and generated code
You keep what you make. As between you and Voxen, you own your prompts, the code you write, and the plugins generated for you, including the compiled .jar files.
- You grant Voxen a non-exclusive, worldwide license to host, store, process, transmit, compile, and display your projects strictly to the extent needed to operate the Service (including sending prompts and code to AI providers to produce your output).
- We do not use your private projects or prompts to train AI models, and we do not sell your content.
- AI output is not exclusive: similar prompts from other users may produce similar code. You are responsible for verifying that your use of generated code complies with applicable licenses and laws.
- You are solely responsible for the plugins you build and where you deploy them, including compliance with the rules of the servers you run them on and with the Minecraft EULA.
- Import & port: when you upload an existing plugin (.jar or source code) to the Service, you declare that you hold the necessary rights to it — it is your own work, or its license permits decompilation and modification. Uploaded code is processed only to provide the requested import/port and remains your responsibility.
6. Acceptable use
You agree not to use the Service to:
- create or distribute malware, backdoors, credential stealers, or plugins designed to damage servers, exfiltrate data, or harm players;
- infringe intellectual property rights of third parties, including decompiling or copying paid plugins you do not have rights to;
- violate any applicable law or regulation, or the terms of Mojang/Microsoft or of the servers where you deploy plugins;
- circumvent credits, plan limits, or technical restrictions, including creating multiple accounts to evade free-plan limits;
- abuse the infrastructure: automated scraping, bulk account creation, denial-of-service attempts, or resale/white-labelling of the Service without our written consent;
- reverse engineer the Service itself, except where such right cannot be excluded by law.
7. Third-party services and Minecraft
The Service is built on third-party infrastructure (hosting, database, payments, email, AI inference). Their availability affects ours; scheduled or emergency maintenance may cause temporary interruptions.
- Payments are handled by Stripe under their own terms and privacy policy.
- AI output is produced by third-party model providers; Voxen selects and routes among them and may change them at any time.
- Voxen is NOT an official Minecraft product and is NOT associated with, endorsed by, or affiliated with Mojang Synergies AB or Microsoft. "Minecraft" is a trademark of Mojang Synergies AB. Spigot, Paper, and Purpur are independent community projects.
8. What the Voxen team may do
To operate, protect, and improve the Service, you acknowledge that the Voxen team may:
- access your account data and project content when necessary to provide support you requested, to investigate abuse, fraud, or security incidents, or to comply with legal obligations — access is limited to what is strictly needed;
- moderate, restrict, or remove content that violates these Terms or the law;
- suspend, limit, or terminate accounts that violate these Terms, harm the Service or other users, or attempt to circumvent limits — with notice where reasonably possible, immediately where necessary;
- apply rate limits, fair-use thresholds, and anti-abuse measures, including on "unlimited" features, to keep the Service usable for everyone;
- add, modify, or discontinue features, AI models, providers, and plan contents at any time; material reductions affecting active paid subscriptions are communicated in advance;
- analyze usage in aggregate or anonymized form to improve the Service;
- perform maintenance that temporarily interrupts the Service.
9. AI disclaimer
AI-generated code can contain errors, inefficiencies, or security vulnerabilities, and may behave differently from what you asked. The automatic build-fix system reduces but does not eliminate this. You must review and test generated plugins before using them on servers you care about, especially in production or with real players. Voxen does not warrant that generated code is correct, secure, or fit for a particular purpose.
10. Warranties and liability
The Service is provided "as is" and "as available", to the maximum extent permitted by applicable law. We do not warrant uninterrupted or error-free operation.
To the maximum extent permitted by law, Voxen's total liability for any claim arising from the Service is limited to the amount you paid us in the 12 months preceding the event. Voxen is not liable for indirect or consequential damages, loss of profits, or loss of data caused by events outside its reasonable control.
Nothing in these Terms excludes or limits liability for willful misconduct or gross negligence, for death or personal injury, or any liability that cannot be excluded by law. If you are a consumer in the European Union, you retain all rights granted by mandatory consumer protection law, including the legal guarantee of conformity for digital services (Directive (EU) 2019/770).
11. Termination
- You can stop using the Service and delete your account at any time from the account settings; deletion removes your data as described in the Privacy Policy.
- We may terminate or suspend your account as described in Section 8. In case of termination for breach, no refund is due for the current period, without prejudice to mandatory consumer rights.
- Sections that by their nature survive termination (content ownership, liability, governing law) remain in force.
12. Changes to these Terms
We may update these Terms as the Service evolves. For material changes we will notify you by email or in the app at least 30 days before they take effect for existing users; continued use after that date constitutes acceptance. If you do not agree, you may cancel and, if you are a consumer and the change materially worsens your paid plan, request a proportional refund of the unused period.
13. Governing law and disputes
These Terms are governed by Italian law. If you are a consumer residing in the European Union, you also benefit from the mandatory protections of the law of your country of residence, and disputes may be brought before the courts of your place of residence. Before any dispute, please contact us at team@voxen.it — most issues can be solved directly.
