Cookie Policy

Last updated: July 6, 2026

Short version: Voxen uses only technical cookies and browser local storage that are strictly necessary to make the Service work or to remember your preferences. We use no advertising cookies, no profiling, and no third-party analytics trackers.

Because everything we store falls in the "technical" category, no consent is required under EU law (ePrivacy Directive and Italian Garante guidelines) — we only owe you this transparency page.

1. What cookies and local storage are

Cookies are small text files a website places in your browser; local storage is a similar browser mechanism for saving small pieces of data. Both let a site remember things between pages and visits — like keeping you logged in or remembering your language.

2. What Voxen stores in your browser

All of the following are first-party, technical, and never used to track you across other sites:

  • Authentication session (Supabase, key like "sb-…-auth-token") — keeps you logged in to your account. Strictly necessary; removed on sign-out.
  • "voxen_lang" — remembers your chosen language (English/Italian). Functional preference.
  • "voxen_last_author" — remembers the plugin author name you used last, to prefill it in new projects. Functional preference.
  • "chat_widget_position" — remembers where you placed the assistant widget in the editor. Functional preference.
  • "voxen_cookie_notice" — remembers that you dismissed the cookie notice, so we don't show it again. Strictly necessary for that purpose.

3. Third parties

When you pay or manage a subscription, you are redirected to Stripe's checkout and billing portal on stripe.com, which sets its own cookies (including anti-fraud ones) under Stripe's cookie policy. No Stripe tracking runs on voxen.it pages. Our infrastructure providers (Vercel, Supabase, Render) may set strictly technical cookies needed to serve requests securely; none of them are used for advertising or cross-site tracking.

4. How to manage or delete them

You can clear cookies and local storage at any time from your browser settings (usually under "Privacy" → "Clear browsing data"). Note that deleting them logs you out and resets your language and editor preferences. Blocking all storage will prevent login from working, since the session token has nowhere to live.

5. Changes

If we ever introduce cookies that require consent (for example analytics), we will update this page and ask for your consent through a proper banner before any such cookie is set.
